HEREFORDSHIRE FWAG and the NFU are holding two evening farm walks to help farmers decide on their best options for an Entry Level Scheme application.
The first event is on Thursday, July 7, at Hennerwood Farm, Pencombe, where FWAG adviser Mike Williams and Andrew Richards, from the NFU, will discuss with farmer, Paul Thomas the options available to him under Entry Level.
"At present the farm is not in any agri-environment scheme so we are starting with a clean sheet," said Mr Williams. "On the walk we will show that farmers can find the required 30 points a hectare in many different ways. We will discuss with Mr Thomas which options he would prefer to adopt."
The second walk is at Park Farm, Craswall, on July 13.
Places need to be booked. Call Mike Williams on 01544 318716 for Pencombe and Caroline Hanks on 01981 251016 for Craswall.
