WEOBLEY High School sculler Daniel Middleton has landed an expenses-paid invitation to a GB early recognition camp after success at Peterborough last weekend.
Middleton took the prize, which comes in the form of the Stanley and Jean Hill memorial bursary, after a three-length win in the final of the junior 14 single sculls. And, to top off the day, Middleton and Tideways Scullers partner Lennie Lambert teamed up in a Herefordshire/London partnership to win the double sculls with a two-length win over Windsor Boys' School.
