SARAH Weaver was Hereford and County Athletics Club's sole winner in the second meeting of the UKA Athletics League at the Dell Stadium, Brierley Hill against Carmarthen, Dudley and Stourbridge and Plymouth.

Weaver came home first in the under-15 girls 100m in 12.9 seconds and followed up by finishing in third place in the 200m in a time of 27.3 secs.

Under 17 Girls: Anna Robertson 2nd A Shot 8.17, 3rd A Discus 16.62, 4th A Javelin 13.55.

Weaver continued her fine form at the third meeting of the South-East Wales Athletics League at Aberdare when Hereford and County AC gained 24 first places and 18 second places.

She once again came home first in the 100m, despite a slightly slower time of 13.50 seconds, but also added successes in the 200m and the long jump to her impressive tally.
