Hot weather on Sunday attracted a number of unsupervised youngsters to the open-air pool at Picklenash Junior School in Newent.
A concerned member of the public called police and officers arrived shortly after 3pm. They moved the children on and gave them advice about the dangers of swimming in a pool, out of school hours and without adult supervision.
