LEDBURY Catholic Church Fete on Saturday attracted around 200 people and raised just over £1,000 for its funds.
The summer heat drew an even larger crowd than usual to the annual event, which was held the gardens of Ellenscroft in New Street, the home of fete organiser, Betty Hollings.
Attractions included a children's ballet display, strawberry teas, a raffle for a picnic hamper and children's games and activities. There was also a Fair Trade display, for the Make Poverty History campaign.
