Thieves took a consignment of alcohol valued at £225 from Ledbury Rugby Club, shortly after it had been delivered.
The theft was between 8am and 9.30am on Tuesday and items taken included a barrel of cider, a case of Budweiser and five cases of special reserve cider.
Police believe a driving instructor was parked on the club car park in Ross Road at around the time the alcohol was delivered.
They are appealing for the driver to come forward, as he or she may hold vital information.
