RICHLY evocative woodcuts conjuring up creatures and muses from another age are one of the latest new exhibits from the Hay Makers gallery.
Jane Mowat studied art history at the Courtauld Institute and is now a member of the Somerset Printmakers.
Also included in the exhibition are Josie Walters, with earthenware pottery made into decorated practical kitchenware, and David Cleverly who shows the influence of his early training as a painter with humour, colour and enjoyment in his earthenware models.
Yvonne Freeborn is a jeweller who has exhibited all over the British Isles and uses sterling silver, diachronic glass in vibrant colours, contrasted by Jill Stewart, from Tyne and Wear, a clockmaker and jeweller working in etched brass.
The Hay Makers are also pleased to have a new member, Chrissie Nash, a silversmith producing sophisticated jewellery.
As usual, the Hay Makers themselves will have new work in the gallery.
