SOAP BOX DERBY - Richard's Castle is hosting its second Soap Box Derby at Hanway Common on Sunday, July 10, starting at 10 am. The entrance fee for spectators will be £3 (children free) with free parking and a free race programme. Hanway Common lies one mile north west of the village of Richard's Castle and the event will be signposted on the day from both the A49 and the B4361.
Spokesman Ian Broom urged everybody to experience the thrill of the hill at this year's International Summer Soapbox Spectacular. Other attractions include: a vintage tractor run and display by Brimfield Vintage Working Day, a static display of competition rally cars and auto trial demonstrations by Ludlow Castle Motor Club, mountain biking demonstrations, food and bar, bouncy castle and much much more. All money raised will be donated to the following charities: Herefordshire Riding for the Disabled, Severn Hospice plus other local charities For further information contact Robin on 01584 877914
