BISHOP'S School under-13 side have broken new ground for Herefordshire cricket by qualifying for the Midlands final of the Bunbury Cup.
The Bishop's side, who entered the competition by virtue of winning the county under-12 cup last year, face Loughborough Grammar School tomorrow (Friday) in a bid to reach the last four nationally.
After a bye in the first round, Bishop's travelled to Belper School in Derbyshire and came away with a 70-run win.
This was then followed by an eight-run success against RGS Worcester in the semi-final where a fine all-round performance by Tom Davoll (48 not out and 2-27) played a significant part in the city school's progress.
