STUDENTS from the performing arts department at HCAD are presenting a four-day festival to tie in with the college's end of year summer show.
The festival, which began yesterday (Wednesday) is taking place in a marquee in Churchill Gardens and consists of five shows daily, to which the public is invited.
Included in the programme is Sarah Kane's provocative Phaedra's Love, Jim Cartwright's award-winning debut, Road, and a sneak preview of dance being performed during Elevation at the Courtyard.
Also being performed is Vaccies, a devised piece of 'reminiscence theatre', with pupils from Clehonger Primary School and St Michael's Primary in Bodenham, based on wartime reminiscences of elderly residents.
