HAY Food Festival takes place for the fourth time this weekend.
The Hay Memorial Car Park in the centre of town will be transformed into a dazzling display of colour, bursting with distinctive local flavour, where gastronomes will be delighted with over 40 local food producers exhibiting their wares.
There will be plenty of food to taste on site and, furthermore, entry is entirely free.
One of the highlights on the day will be the 'Ready, Steady, Cook' challenge with Nick Davis, captain of the Welsh Culinary Olympic Team, cooking fresh local produce hand selected from stalls within the marquee.
Gareth Ratcliffe, Mayor of Hay, is delighted with the growing success of the Festival. "We hope to see more than 4,000 people coming to the town on Saturday. We also have a fancy dress parade starting at 2.30pm from the Town Clock moving on to the Hay Summer Fete at Hay Primary School."
Also on the bill are the Brecon Male Voice Choir, the Llanigon School Choir, and the Association of Morris Dancers.
