COVER band The Steaming Heads will headline at this Saturday's Midsummer Fayre on Hereford's Castle Green.
The band members are all local and describe their sound as a mix of country, bluegrass, cajun, folk and rock played with soul.
The free 'proms in the park' event will feature 13 bands and choirs performing a variety of music at the riverside venue.
The Cider City Jazzmen kick off at 12.15pm, followed by the Young String Players, Hereford Police Male Choir, Hereford Big Band, The Fire Choir, Bandemonium and Flying Carpet Percussion.
The evening bill includes The Alienz, Schmoove, Indie Hawks, the White Eagle band and Scatterlight.
A craft fayre runs from 10am to 5pm, with a caf, beer and cider tent. The event is being staged by the Friends of Castle Green as part of their aim to restore the historic site to community use.
