Ledbury RFC went to Earlsdon needing a win to get out of the bottom two of the Midlands Three West (South) table.
EARLSDON 34PTS, LEDBURY RFC 24PTS
The game was all but over however after just 20 minutes when Ledbury found themselves 19-0 down.
Barrett Price kicked two penalties to make it 19-6 but just before half-time the Earlsdon winger sneaked-in for a try to make it 24-6 to the Coventry-based side.
The second half was much better for Ledbury, Bill Sparrey crashed over the line to register Ledbury a try and to give the away team some hope.
Ledbury pressed hard with forwards Scholefield, Rowlands and Lewins playing and pushing hard. However, Earlsdon scored another try to end any chance of a Ledbury comeback.
Kieram Hallam crossed over for a good try and coach Rob Collins danced-in for another but right on the final whistle, the Earlsdon scrum-half darted in to wrap up the victory.
Tomorrow (Saturday) Ledbury are at home to Bedworth, kick-off is at 2.15pm.
A win is desperately needed, so a lot of rousing support would be very appreciated and welcome.
