Ledbury Town came away with the three points when they visited West Midlands Premier Division basement-club Bustleholme on Saturday.
BUSTLEHOLME 0, LEDBURY TOWN 2
Ledbury with four midfield players out with injury and suspensions, went ahead in the 30th minute when Neil Gardiner curled a free kick into the bottom corner.
Play was fairly even first half with both teams creating chances but the home side found Humphries in the Ledbury goal in outstanding form.
The second half saw the return of Mark Brookes who flew in from Portugal only hours before the game. This change gave Ledbury a much needed boost in midfield and it was not long before Ledbury were two up when Robbie Colwell slotted the ball through to Neil Gardiner to score his second.
Bustleholme came back at Ledbury and forced Humphries to make two top class saves in difficult windy conditions.
Man of the match was Lee Clueit.
Ledbury are home to Market Drayton tomorrow (Saturday), kick-off 2.45pm.
