Ledbury Town moved into second place in the West Midlands Premier Division table, eight points behind leaders Tipton Town but with three games in hand.
WOLVERHAMPTON CASUALS 3, LEDBURY TOWN 6
The only unbeaten side in the league, Ledbury extended their run to ten matches without loss with this comfortable 6-3 victory at Wolverhampton Casuals, who are still in sixth place.
Star of the show for Ledbury was striker Robbie Colwell, who scored a hat-trick and had a hand in the three other goals.
Ledbury took the lead in the third minute through a Neil Gardiner strike and within 10 minutes Alex Volosonous made it 2-0. Robbie Colwell added two more goals before half-time with Ledbury coasting.
Changes in the second half took time to settle and Casuals took advantage to pull back two goals in a ten-minute spell. The introduction of Lee Hooper for Ledbury soon paid dividends and he fired home Ledbury's fifth.
Casuals broke through again to make it 5-3 but Robbie Colwell soon struck for his hat-trick to end a memorable performance.
Kington TOWN 3, LEDBURY TOWN 3
LEDBURY Town continued their unbeaten run on Tuesday night with a 3-3 league draw at Kington.
Ledbury started well and Peter Boyle made a surging run but his shot hit the post, allowing Lee Hooper to grab his fourth goal of the season.
Just before half-time Kington equalised.
Ledbury continued to dominate after the interval and a superb through ball by Alex Volosonous set up Robbie Colwell to score his season's 11th goal.
Kington hit back with two goals but in the dying minutes Lee Clueit fired a 20-yard shot into the roof of the net to share the spoils.
Tomorrow (Saturday) Ledbury Town are at home to Gornal Athletic with an earlier kick-off time of noon, due to the England/Wales World Cup match.
On Wednesday (October 13) Ledbury host Westfields (7.45) in the HFA Senior Cup.
