A FANTASTIC Stuart Smith half-volley from the edge of the area was enough to give Ledbury a half-time lead and set them on the road to three points.
LEDBURY TOWN 2, TIVIDALE 0
Smith converted an Alex Volosonov whipped-in cross following a sweeping move. Ledbury had earlier shown their intent when Lee Hooper was sent through to test Craig Ludok but the keeper saved well.
The game had been even early on and after going behind, West Midlands premier division visitors Tividale almost pulled one back when Craig Humphries saved point-blank from striker Ben Usher.
The second half was a midfield battle with Stuart Hall and Mark Brookes dominating and controlling the game for Ledbury.
Their determination paid off when Robbie Colwell jinked his way past three tackles and centred to Stuart Hall, who finished with style from 12 yards.
