TWO North Herefordshire girls are making plans to set sail on the ocean waves as part of the crew of a tall ship.
Claire Bunce and Rebecca Griffiths, both 17, from The Minster College, Leominster, will commemorate the 200th anniversary of the Battle of Trafalgar and the death of Admiral Lord Nelson in appropriate style by sailing in the Prince William, one of Europe's biggest and best known square riggers.
The youngsters are part of a 48-strong teen crew from 24 schools and colleges across the country that has been selected to take part in the 5th annual HSBC Tall Ships Youth Trust Voyage.
They will join the vessel in Southampton in September and take in two European and English ports on their voyage.
