BOSBURY achieved a comprehensive Flint & Cook Marches League division four victory against understrength visitors Llandrindod 2nd XI on Saturday.
BOSBURY v LLANDRINDOD II
Having been put into bat, the Llandrindod side lost early wickets as Steve Davies bowled T Jones for four and J B Price for six.
However, it was Jon Owen who excelled with the ball on the day. His pace and accuracy was too much for Llandrindod, in a nine-over spell he picked-up seven wickets for just eight runs, as they were routed for just 31 runs in 18 overs.
Bosbury openers Merv Carless (7) and Gary Fletcher (13) then steered the home team to the winning score in just 3.2 overs.
Tomorrow (Saturday), Bosbury travel to Builth Wells for their next game in the Marches League.
