A BURGLAR who stole Christmas gifts has had his sentence cut by Appeal Court judges.
Christopher Morgan, of The Gables, Leominster, was jailed for 21 months at Worcester Crown Court in January after pleading guilty to burgling an isolated cottage in Durlow Common, Tarrington.
Mr Justice Davis described the crime as a mean burglary, which had caused particular distress.
But the 21-month sentence was still too long in light of Morgan's guilty plea, he concluded, substituting 15-months.
