Ledbury Primary School's commitment to the arts has been recognised with a silver Artsmark award.
The award is given to schools that provide opportunities for pupils in all artforms, from drama to literature. It also encourages schools to work in partnership with artists and art organisations.
The school has taken part in a range of activities. Most recently, pupils have been working with Julie Bowen and Ros Goddard as part of the Ledbury Poetry Festival and earlier in the term, children illustrated a poem and entered it in a poetry festival competition.
School spokesman Annabelle Morris said: "We're delighted that the Arts Council has recognised our well-balanced arts education programme, which includes work with local artists."
