A YOUNG Eastnor U15s side hosted Redmarley in the Leadon Vale Youth League.
Eastnor started well with Sam Beale taking his good form from senior cricket into this game and he hit 21. Another good performance with the bat saw Jamie Onions score 12. Eastnor scored 95 and Howells took 2-12.
Redmarley started slowly with some good bowling from Josh Emery, another player performing well in senior cricket, and Tom Watkins (7-2). Redmarley were 5-19 when Griffiths (11) and Lawrence (12) began scoring the runs. Redmarley finished on 75.
IN a fluctuating and exciting U13s pairs match on Sunday at Eastnor, the home side played Redmarley and just ended up winners with a score of 260 to Redmarley's 256.
Batting first, Redmarley scored 256 with a good partnership of 24 from George Ayland and J Edge.
With the scores level, Tom Powell hit a four off the last ball. The last Eastnor partnership of Tom (14) and Elliott Parsons (7) went in with the home side well behind but they made a winning 23 runs.
