CANON Frome batted first through Chris Styles and skipper Rob Mence, who put on 63 for the first wicket.
CANON FROME v WORMELOW
Mence fell for 19 having hit five fours and two sixes, Styles fell for 41 finding Herbert at deep square.
Andy Rogers and Richard Wood moved the score to 88 before Wood fell to Clive Price, who also accounted for Rhod Mence.
Marcus Wrinch joined Rogers in a stand of 68 but both fell to Herbert in the space of four runs, Wrinch well caught by Porter for 24 and Rogers caught by Powell having made 47, which contained six fours.
This left Andrew Duddell and Seth Marshall at the crease and for the final two overs of the innings they crashed 33 runs, they hit two sixes and four fours, Duddell ending on 21 and Marshall on 18 as Frome totalled 206-6.
Wormelow's reply got off to the worst possible start as Jamie Langford was bowled by the first ball of the innings by Andy Rogers. Shaun Langford and Ian Herbert looked comfortable as they pushed the score up to 58 before Herbert was caught by Rhod Mence, off the bowling of Chris Styles.
Styles struck again to remove Powell thanks to a juggling catch by Wrinch. Dropped early on from a difficult chance, Langford proceeded to score 82 and along with Shaw saw Wormelow to within sight of victory. Langford eventually fell to a catch by keeper Harry Orgee off Rogers' bowling but Shaw and Cutler saw Wormelow past the home side's total with seven overs to spare.
