WI - The Burghill and Tillington Women's Institute are having Tea @ 3 on Saturday from 3-5 pm in the Simpson Hall, in aid of the Acorns Children's Hospice. Tickets are available from W.I. members or on tel. 01432 760 386. Prices are £3 for adults, £2 for under-tens and free for under-fours.
CP SCHOOL -Burghill School have gained the Artsmark Gold award, which they will be receiving at a special ceremony at The Grand Theatre in Wolverhampton on July 1.
DRAW -The Parish Plan Questionnaire Draw took place in the Bell Inn on Tuesday May 31, witnessed by Brian Fenn and Glen Williams and the winning questionnaire is number 1036. Will the holder please contact Anthony Choppen on 01432 760394 to collect their £100 prize.
There were 492 completed adult questionnaires returned or 41%, so this has been a very successful consultation and the data will be used to finalise the Parish Plan.
