Hereford Courtyard holds its second book week from Tuesday.
In association with Herefordshire libraries, the arts centre will host a week of events inspired by the literary world.
Cat Weatherill, storyteller and author, will be introducing her new book Barkbelly between 10.30am and 11.15am on Saturday, June 25 - a day filled with book-inspired events for the family.
Between 12.30pm and 1.15pm Cat will perform again, this time dressed in full fairy costume.
A Hungry Caterpillar workshop is scheduled for 10am the same day, when children aged 4-11 are invited to paint butterflies and caterpillars before acting out the story. Spaces are limited so book in advance.
A second hand book sale and Battle of the Books will entertain older readers.
Films showing during the week are also on a literary theme, with Finding Neverland, Touching the Void, The Crucible, Enduring Love and The Merchant of Venice all on the agenda. For details call 0870 1122330.
