HIGH Street retailer Somerfield has invested more than £780,000 in its Ledbury store as part of a nationwide investment of £155 million.
Long-standing customer Doris Parker cut the ribbon to the revamped shop last week, helped by children from Ledbury Primary School. A jazz band and children's entertainer were on hand to liven up the day
Store manager Shaun Floody said: "We are really pleased with our new-look store and I am confident that our customers will be delighted with the improvements."
Somerfield has more than 700 stores and aims to refurbish over 100 of these in the next 12 months.
