LAST week was Noise Action Week and children at St Mary's Primary School, Credenhill had a visit from community support officer Laurence Hull, who gave them some tips about turning the volume down.
To mark the week, the Flights' Residents Association of Oak Road, Elm Road and Robinson Close in Credenhill, where many of the school's pupils live, organised a fun day to raise awareness of the impact of noise on their estate.
One noise-related problem affecting the estate is barking dogs, so a dog trainer was invited along for the day to give some helpful tips and advice to dog owners. Other attractions, many on a canine theme, included a dog show, hot dogs, face painting and a 'beat the goalie' competition.
