Ledbury CC crashed to a second successive Flint & Cook Marches League division three defeat away at Goodrich, this time by a crushing 62 runs.
GOODRICH v LEDBURY
Again Ledbury won the toss and elected to field, on a damp pitch and with small boundaries on either side. The bowlers for Ledbury again did a good job, Dan Herbert was the pick taking 5-28, just reward for some excellent fast bowling. For Goodrich, Gooch 40no was the pick of the batsman.
Set a total of 168 to win, Ledbury's batsmen were unable to get to grips with the pitch conditions which, as the wicket dried out, gave unpredictable bounce and significant movement. Bradford (6-19) ripped out the top order and only Greening (34) and Clueit (20) offered any resistance as Ledbury were skittled out for just 105.
Tomorrow (Saturday), Ledbury have a home match against Moccas.
