Former residents of a children's home in Bromyard will be reunited for the first time, thanks to a local fundraiser.
More than 100 people are expected at the event on Saturday, June 18, for residents and staff at the Frome Bank Children's Home.
The home, on the Bromyard Community Hospital site, was demolished about 30 years ago.
Maureen Jones is organising the reunion for her friend Ronnie Meredith, for his 60th birthday.
"Ronnie went to Frome Bank and had no family, so when he left at 15 he adopted us," said Maureen.
Though Ronnie moved to Northern Ireland, he kept in touch with Maureen and visits Bromyard every summer.
"I thought it would be nice if we found his childhood friends and held a surprise reunion, for his birthday," said Maureen.
The event takes place at the Bromyard Centre at 7.30pm.
"Anyone who was at the home, or knew Ronnie, should come along. The more, the merrier," said Maureen, who can be contacted on 01885 483730.
