Ledbury Youth First was celebrating this week after being awarded a £137,730 grant from the Big Lottery Fund.

The charity, which offers support and advice to young people, plans to use the cash to pay for four new staff members for three years.

A youth information and support development worker, two trainee support development workers and an administrator will be appointed.

They will run drop-in sessions and after-school workshops, addressing personal, social and health issues.

Ledbury Youth First is a voluntary youth organisation for young people aged 11-25 in the Ledbury area.

Youth work projects include information and support service for young people, drug information and support and Ledbury Youth Council (LYNX).
