REVISED plans to rebuild Leadon Bank old people's home have taken a step closer to being approved.
Despite 66 letters of objection, Herefordshire Council officers are recommending Shaw Healthcare's application is given planning permission at the northern area planning committee's meeting on Wednesday (June 15).
Those living near the site say the building will overshadow and dominate homes. Shaw reduced the height of the proposed building in its revised application, but residents say it is still too high.
Officers have said since no new issues have been raised in response to the revised plan, their initial recommendation for approval remains.
