EWYAS Harold are reflecting on one of their best seasons for many years.

The club's first team carried off the Hereford Times Herefordshire League Premier Division title for the first time since the third of a hat-trick of successes in 1999-2000.

They also gained double cup success by claiming the HFA Charity Bowl and the HFL Journal Cup.

Success also permeated its way down to the club's reserve side which finished in fourth place in the Hereford Times Here-fordshire League Division 1 and won the Ross 'A' Cup and the HFA Junior Cup.

The first team players' player of the year award went to Rob Cooper-Tomkins while the manager's player of the year was Nathan Scott, who was also top scorer with 17 goals. Danny Thompson was the young player of the year.

Reserve team player of the year was Rob Bevan while the young player of the year was Harry Hales. Kevin Michael, with 20, was the top scorer and Richard Lloyd picked up the award for the manager's most improved player.

Plans are already being made for next season and the club will hold its annual meeting at The Temple Bar on Tuesday, June 21 at 7.30pm. All players are urged to attend.
