PARISH COUNCIL - At the last meeting of Clehonger Parish Council on May 12 it was decided to postpone the election of Chairman until more Parish Councillors were able to attend, two nominees having received equal votes. It was also decided to carry over to the next meeting election of vice-chairman and election of Parish Council officers. Councillor Taylor agreed to continue as interim Chairman.

The clerk was asked to write to Yeoman's Bus Company and ask them to reconsider their bus fares for school children attending Kingstone High School.

Colin Birks from Herefordshire Council has written to say that the error on the Land Registry title for the playing field opposite the school has now been corrected. The field is now vested in the Parish Council. He will now arrange a formal lease to be prepared between the Parish Council and Herefordshire Council so that the school can continue to use and maintain this area. The Deeds for the playing field have been deposited in the bank at a fee of £20

The Extended Schools Program have asked for funding regarding a Youth Shelter. Clerk was asked to write to the planning office to see if planning permission was required. Parish Council asked Paul Hayley if he could provide the council with some sketches as to the design of the shelter.

The next meeting of the Council will be held next Wednesday at 7.30pm at Innesfield Community Centre.
