Eastnor are through to the area final of the National Village Championship after a comfortable six-wicket win over neighbours Colwall.
Tom Wolfendale and Dave Powell gave Colwall an excellent start with a stand of 66 for the first wicket and, after Powell was bowled by Jabran (1-46) for 33, Nick Panniers gave Wolfendale fine support before falling to Ishtiaq one short of his half-century.
Ishtiaq (4-55) picked up three more wickets but Wolfendale batted through the 40 overs to finish with a superb unbeaten 96 as the Colwall innings was completed at 214-6.
Eastnor quickly lost skipper Jabran in reply but the in-form Adeel (50) received good support from Arshad (31) as Eastnor chased their target.
After both had been dismissed, Shahid (41 not out) was joined by Ishtiaq (48 not out) and the all-rounders saw Eastnor home with six overs to spare.
