Hereford Wheelers Cycling Club returned to their usual Allensmore circuit course for the eighth race in the series of 15.
Kevin Townsend, of Climb on Bikes, produced a winning time of 23 mins 34 secs in his first 10-mile time trial this season. It was a good time but slightly slower than his best, as he holds the course record of 22.27.
Hereford Wheelers took the next three places.
Results: 1 Kevin Townsend 23.34, 2 Chris Hughes 25.05, 3 Simon Geary 25.09, 4 Phil Gwyn 25.13, 5 Dave Pearson 25.21.
n Entries are still available for the Hereford Wheelers 'Come and Try It' 10-mile time trial held at Allensmore village hall on Thursday, June 16. Any roadworthy bicycle can be used in this event which is being held in national Bike Week to encourage the general public to look after their health by cycling.
