DANNY Williams has joined Nationwide Conference club Stevenage Borough within a month of being released by Hereford United.
The 24-year-old right-sided midfielder app-eared 108 times for the Bulls after arriving at Edgar Street from Chesterfield.
Despite a promising start to his three-year stay at United, he struggled to command a regular place last season and was released by director of football Graham Turner in May, along with Lee Mills, Graham Hyde and Ben Scott.
During Hereford's semi-final play-off defeat to Stevenage, Sheffield-born Will-iams appeared as a late substitute in the first leg.
He was given the starting nod in the second leg, which Borough won 1-0 before losing to Carlisle in the final.
