AROUND 50 people attended the last meeting of the thriving Bromesberrow Gardening Club, at Bromesberrow Village Hall on March 11, to hear speakers from the Woodland Trust.
They talked for one hour about the need to preserve the national woodlands.
Afterwards, local gardening expert David Myers fronted a question time session, with asparagus as one of the main themes.
The next meeting will be on April 8, at 7.30pm, at the hall.
The main speaker will be Sue Deakins, who runs her own garden design company in Wellington.
There will be a hot-cross bun supper and the results of the best-decorated Easter egg will be announced.
The club is also planning an Easter egg hunt, open to members and non-members, to take place at Heath House from 2pm on Easter Sunday, April 10.
