The Nationwide Confer-ence management committee have decided not to impose a 10-point deduction on Exeter City for entering into a Corporate Voluntary Agreement last October.
At last summer's Conference annual meeting a vote was carried that clubs taking that course of action would face a points deduction. Subsequently, Exeter mounted a legal challenge to that decision.
Hereford United chairman Graham Turner, who has been highly critical of Exeter's actions, said wryly: "At the last annual meeting member clubs made a democratic decision regarding points deduction if a club went into a CVA. It now seems that the matter will be re-submitted for another democratic decision at the next annual meeting."
Exeter's dispute over the non-registration of a player, which could also incur a points deduction, has been referred to the Football Association.
