THE Herefordshire Football Association recently held their annual dinner when three members, Neil Jenkins, Ray Crawthorn and Jim Lambert, each received Life Membership Awards.
Neil Jenkins is well known in local footballing circles, starting as a player during the 1960s before taking up the whistle. He refereed for many years, performing both locally and in the Southern League. He joined the HFA in 1977, and is currently the county's referees appointments officer, having acted as the chairman of the Referees' Association in the past.
