Ewyas Harold and Pegasus will contest the Hereford Times Herefordshire League Strongbow Senior Cup final this season.
In the semi-final ties on Saturday, Harold beat Wellington 2-0, and Pegasus accounted for Hinton 5-1.
Home team Ewyas Harold edged through against Wellington after extra-time to book their third final this season. They netted twice in extra-time after neither side could break the deadlock in normal time.
The strong wind made life difficult for both sets of players. Harold were on top in the first half with the wind at their backs, but the resolute visitors' defence refused to buckle.
When it was their turn to defend after the break the home team showed the same determination. The tie was nearly decided in the final minute of normal time, but Eddie Wells fluffed a simple chance for Wellington.
Harold hit their visitors with a quick one-two in extra-time. Mark Holder netted the first, and then Peter Lamb made the result safe from the penalty spot after Rob Chandler had been fouled inside the penalty area. They played out time to record a fine result that owed a lot to the endeavour and commitment of the whole team.
Today (Thursday) Ewyas Harold play their first final against Woofferton in the HFA Charity Bowl at Wellington FC, kick-off 7.3opm.
Pegasus made light of the difficult conditions in the early stages of their city clash with Hinton at Old School Lane, going 2-0 up before the visitors had time to settle.
First Pete Richards and then Darren Jones netted with long drives.
Led by Matt Smallie and John Jenkins, Hinton made a determined effort to claw their way back into the tie. Joe Wright's experience was a key factor at this stage as he organised his young defence to limit the visitors to just one goal before the break.
Jones confirmed his return to form after a lean spell when he netted his fourth goal in three games to restore the two-goal cushion soon after the resumption. When keeper Andy King could only parry a cross from the wing he was on hand to net the loose ball.
Worse was to follow for King as the windy conditions caused him to spill the ball and Kit Williams was on hand to bag the fourth. The contest was all over and, with Chris Goode controlling the midfield, it was the home team who netted again. Richards added a second, this time from the penalty spot.
