THE Office of the Deputy Prime Minister will have final say on Kingstone High School's proposed £1.2million sports hall.
Despite Herefordshire planners giving their full backing for the building, Sport England's objection means the matter must go before John Prescott's government office in the West Midlands.
Sport England opposed the development, which includes a hall, reception areas, changing rooms, toilets and showers because 'there would be a loss of a playing field'.
The final decision is in the next 21 days.
