AN organisation dedicated to promoting tourism in Herefordshire is looking for a new home and they're appealing for help.
The Association for the Promotion of Herefordshire (APH) has until now enjoyed rent-free accommodation which, as Chairman Mrs Jennie Layton explains, "has counted as private sector support towards accessing further funds from a number of external sources."
Now APH is looking for office accommodation for four members of staff, in or close to the city centre, for a peppercorn rent.
APH is a company limited by guarantee, meaning all funds are ploughed back in to support businesses once essential costs have been paid.
"We have always kept administration costs to a minimum, using our members' money to directly market the county.
"We will have to work extra hard to bring back business lost through the flooding of the River Wye," says Mrs Layton. "Cancellations lost thousands of pounds worth of turnover."
Anyone who can help should contact Managing Director Bobbie Heavens on 01432 850344.
