POULTRY HOUSES - Members of Radnorshire planning committee have voted to visit Evenjobb because of a feared reaction over more chicken houses on the outskirts of the village. Permission is being sought for two additional poultry houses and low-profile feed silos at Cottage Farm. This application will be determined by Powys planning committee but councillors want to see what is involved before making a recommendation.

SAFETY MEASURES - A footway is to be installed at Evenjobb to give a continuous pedestrian link as a safety measure in the village. It would be of particular benefit to disabled people, children and the elderly, Radnorshire councillors heard.
