CRAFT CLUB - Almeley Craft Club held its first craft and coffee morning in the village hall, on Saturday, March 13. This was a very successful event, well supported by local residents. There was an extensive range of demonstrations and finished work by eighteen crafters. Items on display included watercolours, pastel, silk, and folk-art painting. Decoupage work on cards and trays, tapestry and embroidery, quilting, advanced knitting pattern designs, lace cutting cards, patchwork, baskets and cards, model house-making, fabric doll sculpture, teddy bears, both cuddly and embroidered, and even a family of mice.
