WHEN Jeremy Hardy played Ludlow Assembly Rooms last Saturday, he got rather a surprise.
He called the local hotels to book a room but was told: "We're booked up with people who are going to the Jeremy Hardy gig."
So Jeremy had to no place to lay his head and had to go back to London after the show.
However, he liked what he saw of Ludlow so much that he's coming back
He will be present, with Chris Dunham, to introduce the screening of Jeremy Hardy versus the Israeli Army, which is being shown at Ludlow as part of the Borderlines Film Festival next Wednesday.
Afterwards he will talk about his experiences and take questions from the audience.
David Gillam, director of Borderlines Film Festival, said: "It is fantastic news that Jeremy will be coming to the screening at Ludlow.
"This is the last film we're showing this year, and it's a great way to finish the festival."
And by the way, Jeremy's already booked his hotel room.
