Malvern 57 pts Hereford 7
ALTHOUGH the young Hereford team showed lots of endeavour they could not match the power and experience of their hosts who booked their place in the semi-final of the North Midlands Cup with a comfortable victory.
Scrum-half Billy Grisman again showed a lot of promise in difficult circumstances and young prop Ben Priday more than held his own.
After the break substitute Colin Osborne soon made his presence felt when he intercepted seconds after joining the fray to race over for a try, and then added the conversion.
But this was all Hereford could muster as Malvern finished strongly to add three more tries.
l Hereford 3rd beat Old Halesonians 2nd 17-5 at home with tries from Ivan Powell, Chris Perkins and Gareth Griffiths, and a conversion by Lyndon Day.
