A QUILT produced by two members of Bromyard Afternoon Club was raffled for charity this week.
Joan Rowat and Vera Ayres made the cream and blue patchwork quilt entirely by hand as the first prize in a raffle for Acorns Children's Hospice.
It was won by Joan Smith of Kirkham Gardens.
Four cushions were also raffled as a runner-up prizes and were won by club members.
Group secretary Christine Forsyth said: "It went very well, we thought we'd raise about £300 but we got £350."
The raffle was on Tuesday at the Kirkham Gardens Hall after the club's AGM.
Anyone interested in joining the club, which meets monthly, should contact Mrs Forsyth on 01885 482047.
