CHURCH RESTORATION FUND - On Saturday, March 13, at 7.30pm, in the village hall, an audio-visual will take place called The Quiet Heart's Delight, by Kenneth Seed. Tickets are £5 and there will be refreshments.
SCHOOL - The pupils in Stretton Sugwas School are continuing to improve a Quiet Garden, with a new wooden fence and two arches, they hope to plant flowers in the spring. This has been down with generous donations from people connected to the school. The garden also contains a sundial and a wishing well. The children want to raise money to hang money to hang wind chimes from the arches.
PARISH COUNCIL - A meeting will take place in the village hall on Thursday, March 25, at 7.30pm.
VILLAGE HALL - Old time dancing on a Monday evening still attracts around 30 to 40 people. All donation's go to the village hall, thanks to Dia Jones and Clive Eagling. The dinner and dance has been cancelled this year, due to costs. Line dancing continues on a Tuesday and Wednesday evening.
