ST PATRICK'S DAY - Mid Border Arts is presenting an evening to celebrate St Patrick's Day, in the Memorial Hall on Saturday, March 20, starting at 6.30 pm. THE JUDGE'S LODGINGS - The Judge's Lodgings in the former Shire Hall are now open for business again, and ready for the 2004 season. Winner of several national awards, the Lodgings have been called a fascinating social document by Country Life Magazine.
PROBUS CLUB - At the annual meeting of the Probus Club, held on Tuesday, March 2, at the Radnorshire Arms, Mr Noel Morgan was elected chairman. Cyril Hindley was re-appointed as treasurer and Geoff Johnson-Brett as secretary who can be contacted on 01544 267255. Mr Jay Brittain gave a talk about the Kington Small Breeds Farm and Owl Centre.
GARDENING CLUB - The next meeting of the club is in the Memorial Hall next Monday at 7.30pm when Michael Leach will be coming to talk about Plants and their Places.
