Hereford Cathedral School will met King Edward's School, Aston, in the final of the North Midlands Schools U-16 Cup, at Ledbury, on Wednesday, March 17, kick-off 2.30pm.
They booked their place in the final with a convincing 36-0 semi-final win over Adams School, Shropshire, but the prospect of an all-Herefordshire final was dashed when Bishop's School went down 3-0 to King Edward's School in the other semi-final.
Bishop's School matched their opponents in every department of a closely contested game but went out to a late penalty.
Cathedral School will be at full strength with their three players involved in national development squads all available.
The Lewis twins, centre James and scrum-half Robert, are both in the Wales 16-group squad, and James recently played for the Wales A team against Italy.
The third international hopeful, hooker George Thomas, is the only North Midlands player included in the 48-strong England development squad who will play in the Millfield International Development Festival.
King Edward's School provides a new challenge for Cathedral School at this level, but they have beaten them twice in recent years in the Daily Mail U-18 Schools Cup.
