HEREFORD-based LuKRacing.net cycle racing team made a flying start to 2004 with members of the club winning no less than four events.
Father and son pairing John and Ceri Pritchard, back together after a gap of six years, made light of the period of absence by winning the Frome and District 2up 10-mile event.
On a cold and windy morning they regularly swapped leadership to pull away from the field and win in 22 min 24 sec, 24 seconds clear of the second placed duo.
In the Solo 10-mile event Jimmy Little marked his team debut with a victory in 24 min 2 sec.
Another newcomer, Darren Willetts, also chalked up a debut win when he led the field home to win the Wyre Forest 10-mile event in a time of 22 min 1 sec.
Club colleague Ceri Pritchard was second, 14 sec adrift, with Little taking third place and John Pritchard fourth.
Youngsters Tim Wood and Paul Osborne continued the run of success when they were convincing winners of the Severn Road Club 2up under-18 25-mile race, finishing in 55 min 6 sec, over four minutes ahead of their closest rivals.
Kyle Tilley also underlined his promise with the fastest junior time of 1 hr 10 min 45 sec in the solo race.
